Long time no post...

Yes, I'm still alive and I've found my inspiration again. So now I'm going to bring this blog to life again. :)

A few weeks ago I visited my family and my mum keeps some paintings and drawings that I made for her on her wall. I recognized one water colour painting that I created when I was 13 years old...

 

It was a christmas present for my mum. 

Gosh, when I think about it... This painting more than 14 years old.

Finally I made it to draw my boyfriend himself. 

I did that drawing in a rush, maybe that's why I'm not really comfortable with the result...

Sometimes I should stop being that perfectionistic ... ^^

Yes, again a present. :P

Imran is one of the closest friends I ever had, though he lives in London...

I thought I scan my work in different states of creating. 

I actually find this pretty interesting, looking at it after some time, seeing how it became a complete drawing.

I edited the scans because scanner and pencil aren't the greatest pairing. That's why some of the pictures have a darker background than others.

Maybe there're better ways of editing them without the whole picture becoming darker but yeah, I'm no professional concerning digital art. I prefer the good old paper-and-pencil-way (who would have guessed ;) )

Ville Valo

Again a present, this was for my boyfriend.

He's a huge HIM-fan and since I started with Ville, I guess I will draw the whole Band for him at some point.

Half way my glasses suddenly disappeared. Until today I have no idea, where they went. I had to get new glasses and that's why this drawing got finished in September, though my bf's birthday is in August. 

Anyway, he loves it and that's the main thing ^^
